Packed Weekend

EDIT; Oh, and I forgot that I have another birthday party this afternoon (Saturday) that I forgot about. Great. TOO MUCH STUFF!!! And I got to bed at 3am...Zzzzz...

I think I'm going to have a rather busy weekend this weekend. I'm taking my friend Krissy out to buy a mobile this arvo, she's a bit phone illiterate you see, and needs someone with her so she doesn't make a stupid decision like last time. Then I'm going to Kelly's 23rd birthday party tonight. Tomorrow morning I'm going to the St Andrews markets with Beth, then catching up with Pete (my friend from Tassie who's over visiting for the weekend) in the afternoon. And at night I have Alex's 21st (even though his birthday was 6 months ago). Then on Sunday morning I'm singing a song with Rachel at church. Perhaps I have Sunday afternoon off. I sure hope so coz I have lots of study stuff to get done. Then I'm back at church Sunday night and I usually don't get home til about 11pm after catching up with everyone afterwards. It'll be fun though. Oh, and on Monday, I'm going to the Ben Lee/Missy Higgins concert!!! I can't wait!!! What are you guys doing this weekend?

I have no idea how you manage to make yourself so busy...

Personally, what I have planned is to finish this stupid treatment for the comic book and then write it.

    My life is exciting.

    Sounds fun guys!

    Melbourne rocks!

I'm not really into computer games in general, but movies sound fun!

Maths is awesome!!! I solved and plotted some quadratic equations the other day because I was bored and I enjoy them. Maybe I should be admitting to that.

BOOM!! Castle in the sky was great!

But i missed Nausicaa while it was on SBS. Bah, I'm distraught. Did you borrow them or buy? Maybe I'll steal them off you.

i've missed all of them so far! so sad... i've already seen laputa, totoro and spirited away though

Have you seen Kaykara Blade? I love that movie.

aaah tink ur crazy. u solved quadratic equations cauz u wer BORED!?!

Yes, I am crazy. Remember I was a maths teacher last year. Seems weird saying that at the ripe old age of 23.

And guys, I've never heard of any of those movies except spirited away, and I haven't seen it. Amine isn't my thing.

I did get and watch don juan demarco today. I'm so in love with johnny depp...

We have all the Miyazaki ones you can buy in Australia on DVD. Nausicaa is great, just make sure you watch in Japanese instead of the American voice overs. We had to get a copy of Totoro from Japan cause Madman just keeps putting off it's release
    Ludicrousity said...
I didn't understand any of that.

i was thinking of buying some when i was in japan but my teacher told me not to waste my money and he burnt me two

Great role modelling from a teacher...
    Dboy said...
    Absolutely.

Haven't heard of Kaykara Blade? What about The Mitzaruto?
    Brie said...
oh yeah, we have great role models at school. In year 7 i can remember being shocked cos an IT guy walked past when i was playing a song and asked me to put it on the school network for him
    Dboy said...
    Yeah, me too.

Also, check out a anime movie called 'Father'. It's pretty cool.
    Ludicrousity said...
Yeah, I prefer watching movies in their original language rather than bad dubbing.

Yay for Laura!!! Another Johnny Depp fan!!!
    Litha said...
I find the dubs are just really Americanised, for example, they'll add in extra unnecessary talking where in the Japanese version it's silent. It just takes away from the movie and makes it more American. They are still good but much better if you watch in original Japanese

It's like a crap rip off of Gary Larson, maybe it's the artist trying to get people to his site.
