MISSY HIGGINS DVD IS ALMOST HERE!!!

Now I'll assume that you're aware that I adore Missy Higgins. Well I have super exciting news! She has a DVD coming out on October 2nd/3rd. I read two different dates on her website. Grrr... stupid confusing website. Guess what I'll be doing on October 2nd/3rd? Shopping!!! I'm so excited!

Speaking of music, is anyone coming to see us play at the open mic night tomorrow? It'd just be nice to know who's coming. Feel free to show up even if you don't tell us you're coming, but it'd be cool to have an idea of who's coming. Details here.

    What don't you like about her? She has a beautiful voice (even if you have issues with her accent), deep and interesting lyrics, and her music is amazing! I wish I could write music like that!

    I might go tomorrow night, if i can get transport.

    i put my car in for a transmission service today. i also got them to check out why it was running roughly. turns out it's a blown head gasket. so i don't have a car until friday. and after friday i won't have about $1,200 or so that i used to have either... :-(

    It's not a movie silly! It's a music dvd! With live performances and film clips and a behind the scenes thing interview thing. I can't wait for it!

    I got my first car for $3k, an '87 magna elite. I loved my car! Tom was a great car. But he died in Sep '04. Poor Tom. Then I got Harvey, my '96 Holden Nova in Jan '05 for $7k. Great car! I love Harvey!

    Yeah, I paid $13,000 for mine back in 2002. It's a '97 EL Falcon wagon. The head gasket blowing is a common problem in Falcons. The mechanic said he'd send the head out to a company that does modifications on them to stop the gasket blowing. So hopefully it won't happen again for a long time!
