Exercise Is Evil!

Well I've stuck to my healthy eating/exercise plan so far. It's been about 3 weeks now. Go me! I've usually given up by now. Unfortunately I've only lost 4kg, but I'm still going! My plan of losing 10kg before the wedding was obviously ridiculous, so I might just have to settle for 5kg or something. I'm sad that 'the biggest loser' isn't on tv anymore, because that was such a great motivator! My thighs are not liking me very much after tormenting them on our elliptical exercie bike thingy. Damn that thing kills me. But that's good. Yay! I'm going to look so hot...

Good work Megan, don't think that 4kg in three weeks isn't awesome; weight loss of around 1kg per week is a great result. TBL, despite being very entertaining, did not set realistic expectations for weight loss for mr and mrs average out there. You want to concentrate on long term and maintainable health goals and blah blah blah

Haha! You're such a dietician Lis! But yeah, I know that, I'd just rather a quick fix...

Keep up the exercise... it will just make you feel so much better all the time. Endorphins=happy!

I'm still upset that I'm not losing weight, but I know that the exercise always makes me feel better anyway. Oh, and I love elliptical machines! Actually, my KNEES love elliptical machines... no jarring impact!

Keep it up! As Rob Schneider says in the movie The Water Boy, "You can do eet!"

Haha! Thanks DCMM! I'd rather have a tredmill than this bike thing, but tredmills are expensive, and I'm poor, so I'll make do with this. Also, I'm going to start going to the gym as often as I can. Go me!

My cousin is a personal trainer (and all round nice guy) and he said that to get a treadmill as good as the ones at the gym, you would need to spend about $5000+ (min) and then you need to get it serviced regularly - like a car! Even the cheaper ones you need to get serviced. As if you need that hassle! I was also thinking about getting a treadmill but have since been put off and am considering joining a gym (but as yet have not done any actual signing up)

Yeah, I hearrd it'd cost about $3k to get a decent tredmill. Doh! I'll just go to work and use the ones there for free!

Yeah but apparently cheap treadmills are not good for jogging/running, something to do with springs/suspension or something, and the impact and jarring on your muscles/joints etc. I can't remember exactly, but it was explained to me. The (badly made) point being that it's probably best to use that free one Megan, especially for running/jogging.

(MPB I can aruge properly when I don't have two essays due, if you're prepared to wait)

    I of course mean "argue"

(But I can probably aruge too)

But what I think we all mean, is "Keep up the good work Megan!"
