The Way You Look Tonight

Isn't this the sweetest song? I absolutely adore it. *sigh* I want someone who will sing to me... I have been listening to the Michael Buble verison of it and I just love it! *over dramatic sigh*

someday when i'm awfully low
when the world is cold
i will feel a glow just thinking of you
and the way you look tonight

yes you're lovely
with your smile so long
and your cheeks so soft
there is nothing for me but to love you
and the way you look tonight

with each word your tenderness grows
tearing my fear apart
and that laugh wrinkles your nose
touches my foolish heart
lovely never never change
keep that breathless charm
won't you please arrange it
cause i love you
just the way you look tonight

and that laugh that wrinkles your nose
it touches my foolish heart
lovely don't you ever change
keep that breathless charm
won't you please arrange it
cause i love you
just the way you look tonight

just the way you look tonight

This is becoming a seriously girly-zone...

You realise, Tink, don't you, that we real boys are more likely to sing "Good old Colingwood forever" or air-guitar 'stairway to heaven' than break into a mushy song about wrinkly noses and soft cheeks with adjectives like lovely an'stuff.
(But we still love you all the same!)

I know that... A girl can dream can't she?

    OK, Ok, but what does:

    'keep that breathless charm' mean?

    Asthma? hacking cough? hayfever?

It's all about the picture as a whole. It's about the fact the he enjoys her being in love with him I think. The charm that comes with her being a girly girl around him, and obviously being in love with him.

I think it means when someone has bad breath, but they've got the 'charm' to be a little bit 'breathless' when pointing their mouths at you.

    Romantic to the dickens!

My knowledge of romantic coughing etiquette has opened many a door...
