Time for a bit of audience participation!
I'd love to know what artists you like that seem out of character. Bands that you say you like and people say 'really? I didn't think you'd like them!'. That's happened to me a couple of times recently. Here are my artists that surprise people:

My mom played the above every Saturday, all day, while we cleaned house. I know nearly every word to Air Supply tunes.

Okay, so you can make fun of me for liking Air Supply, but I will take anyone DOWN who makes fun of the Bee Gees. That's a promise. They took a bum rap for the disco backlash, but their talent and longevity is something to be truly admired.
